Goodbye, Low Carb Diet!

Don’t get me wrong, low carb dieting works. So does eating less or exercising more. I for one have decided that low carbing is just not for me. I’ve done it successfully in the past and lost 10 kilograms, and I even had a hint of abs then. My abs are a bit funny, they are more like a 5 pack instead of a 6 pack, but that’s still better than the keg I’ve got on my tummy right now.

So I am planning to eat in moderation. I sure want to keep my protein intake up, and I will supplement with Creatin for the extra boost in stamina and muscle growth, but other than that, I’ll enjoy my life because this is NOT meant to be a crash diet but a lifestyle change that we’ll want to keep for good.

How rewarding it will be to fit and healthy and able to wear “normal” clothes again! At the same time, I want to enjoy good food without having to count carbs, fat or calories, I want to enjoy good wine and a beer every now and then, and who could forget my beloved “cafe grande” ice cream? I’m sick of yo-yoing with crash diets that one simply cannot keep up. So…I’ll opt for a much slower weight loss program, but one that I can keep with forever.
