Don’t squash-and-beer
Seedy and I went for another squash battle, determined to do better than last time. We went to a different squash place near-by where Seedy lives. The place had blue line markings (as opposed to normal red ones), but other than that it was really quite good (expensive though). So the game began, and within the first few points we knew that this one was going to be a very different affair. We really went for it and gave it our all!
The game was much better, faster, harder, yet the score was also much clearer, in Seedy’s favour. Nothing seemed to really work for me, it was annoying. It wasn’t a for a lack of trying, that’s for sure, it’s just that my squash skills couldn’t keep up with my spirit. We played for a full hour, after which we had played 6 games in total, and I had won only one game. Yet, it was the best game of squash we had in a long time! It’s only day 4 of my amazing life style change, and already I feel healthier, more capable and energetic than before! During the game I even completely forget about my sore legs from the day before. Things are looking up!
When I arrived at home, I had my protein drink again, one of my frozen low carb beers, and a Trumer Pils. Man, this is some bitter beer, but it’s got a nice taste. But I got all woozey and nauseus yet again - I think I should just stay away from beer after exercise, full stop. It doesn’t do any good to me. I remember watching the Amazing Race just before I passed out on the couch again.
