Increased metabolism

Day 5. Woke up early, brought Saggybutt her morning coffee, did a bit of triceps and shoulder press, then I went to nag Saggybutt out of bed. To my amazement, there she was, in her trainers almost ready to go “walkies”! How’s that! She didn’t moan and groan when I woke her, and she didn’t need to be sweet-talked into exercising… she was ready to rock’n'roll, so to speak! Now this I’ll book squarely into the “flying-pigs” category of experiences.

Our powerwalk was slightly marred by drizzly rain, but to my surprise I once again felt really energetic and it felt very easy. Saggybutt lost her drive a little bit during the last third of our 30 min walk, but other than that, it’s been going great. I was quite hungry again upon return and I downed my protein drink quickly. I think my metabolism has finally begun to rev up a bit, as I am usually getting quite peckish in the morning, whereas in the past I could have gone comfortably until lunch, with only the protein drink in the morning.
